So whilst I was on holiday and went into quite a few different Sephoras, I ended up picking a couple of Kat Von D pieces so I thought I would put them together and make a mini haul.
I know it is a very mini haul, but I was trying not to buy too many products that I could buy in England. Even so, when I saw these products I needed to get them as they are absolutely gorgeous.
The everlasting liquid lipstick was a product I wanted to purchase for quite a while. Seeing as my brother bought me the mini version for my birthday and I fell in love with the formula. The shade I picked up was Exorcism, I absolutely love this colour. It is such a dark berry colour, perfect for the winter!
I think this lipstick is a perfect one for me as I wore this when I went out to ice hockey, but we went out for food first. Being me I of course order Mac and cheese, it was only after I had eaten did I think about my lipstick, but it hadn’t budged! I mean how perfect is that?
I have 100% found my perfect lipstick formula. I will definitely be picking up more of these when I can afford to in different shades. Not only do I love the formula and the shade, but the name is just incredible. What other brand would think to name one of their lipsticks “Exorcism”??
The second purchase in my “haul” was the Alchemist Holographic Palette
I wasn’t sure on this product when I first saw it online as the shades are quite small and I thought you wouldn’t get a great deal, plus it wasn’t exactly cheap. However, when I actually saw it in person my opinion definitely changed and I had to have it.
The main downside to this product is how small the shades are, to say it is quite expensive you don’t seem to get a great deal of product. Even so, the shades are so pigmented and you don’t really need a great deacon your face. Obviously we all want to “be on fleek”, however we don’t need too much product especially with this palette.
I feel with this palette, you should use more of a fan brush but a smaller one as if you’re just wanting to use one shade you could end up using more than one due to the size of your brush compared to the palette.
There are so many more Kat Von D products I want, I mean even if its just for the packaging because it is gorgeous but I think I may have to wait until my birthday or Christmas for more as I really should be on a spending ban!
I posted in March about the piece I got for my birthday last year all about the limited edition ‘London Calling’ kit which included miniatures of Tattoo Liner in Trooper, Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Double Dare and Studded Kiss Lipstick in Lolita. If you want to check out that post click here.
Whats your favourite Kat Von D product?
Until next time
