So I picked up the Becca x Chrissy Tiegen Glow Face Palette when I went into Sephora in France. This post is going to be all about my first impressions of the palette. This was my first purchase actually in France. I know this was a big purchase but my mum was stood at the side of me saying “you know you’ll regret not buying it like you did last year.” You know when your mum says buy it, you know you’re going to.
When I left the store and saw my dad, I could just see him shaking his head and thinking what on earth had I bought this time?
But I was very happy with my purchase. I just loved the look of the palette and I couldn’t wait to use it. I obviously had to wait until I photographed this beauty. so it had to sit looking pretty in its packaging for 2 weeks!
I can honestly say it was worth the wait though. I used this for the first time when I was getting ready to go to ice hockey. Yes I know a full makeup look for ice hockey? But they’re my two passions so of course.
I used Beach Nectar and Rose Gold mixed together. Even though both of these are very pigmented and shimmery. I love to mix both of these together to create a more shimmery look, if thats even possible.
I would definitely recomend this palette to someone who is looking to spend that little bit more for a great highlight, blush and bronzer set. I have’t tried out the blush and bronzer properly yet as I’ve not needed it. This blusher is quite bright, so when I do use it I will have to make sure I have my powder on hand to tone it down slightly. I already have rosy reds and don’t need any help in that department!
This is a palette which easily slides on and creates a great shimmer. It is also a great palette to use to contour, if you lightly use the bronzer you can use this to shape and define your face. Whats better than having everything all in one palette?
Not only are the shades perfect for me, but look at the packaging. Have you seen anything more perfect? I definitely haven’t!
Have you tried out any of the Becca range? Whats your opinion? What should I buy next??
Until next time
