*Disclaimer: I was sent these products as part of my agreement to become a Botanics Ambassador, all opinions are my own and I will review the products genuinely and tell you my honest opinion*
I wasn’t sure if I would like Botanics All Bright Illuminating Radiance Balm as my skin is already quite red and I didn’t know whether this product would highlight this or just give me a natural shine which is what I wanted. But I have to say I was pleasantly surprised when I first tried this out, its a very lightweight balm meaning you don’t need to apply too much.
I think with this balm if you slowly increase the amount you use then you’ll soon see how much you need to apply to get a desired look. I noticed I didn’t need to use a great deal to get a slight natural shine. I didn’t really want to overdo it the first time I used it in case I ended up looking like a disco ball.
The Botanics way to use this product is to “Smooth over cleansed skin to create a long lasting radiant base. For best results use in conjunction with All Bright Hydrating Day Cream SPF15.”
I think their way is probably the best as it makes your skin feel very soft and does give you a great base.
It does also state that you can apply this under makeup or for on its own. I think this is a great way to make the most out of a product. Especially for those who don’t always want to wear a full face of makeup, this is a great way to create a natural shine without overdoing it.
I am going to keep using this and see how it works for me with and without makeup. I did like how it gave me a natural shine but I want to keep trying these and see if I notice any difference within my skin and obviously I will keep you informed on what it actually does.
